How do I start a broadcast?

There's a pretty long delay between my camera and what I see on Switchpro? Is this normal?
That is called 'latency', or just lag, and though it is normal to have some lag in broadcasting over the internet, anything more than 10 or so seconds can usually be helped with adjusting the settings of your RTMP client. Here are a couple of articles on how to do that.
