Community Guidelines

Switchpro is designed to foster a community of developers and creators that follow a shared ethos of Positivity, Inclusiveness, and Freedom of Expression. To this end, the following represent expectations of community involvement and participation.

Prohibited Content

Any content that is patently offensive or illegal in the jurisdiction of the creator, whether broadcast publicly, or privately will result in immediate ejection from the community and revocation of all use of the platform whether that party is a creator or developer.

  • Copyrighted Material

The content in your broadcast must be your original work, or if it isn't your original work, it must be properly obtained and owned by you with rights to broadcast it. This includes images or copy, such as the broadcast thumbnail, broadcast poster, broadcast description, broadcast title, and any video or audio content that is included with your broadcast.

  • Subject Matter

A core principle of Switchpro is Freedom of Expression. To this end, we encourage a wide diversity of content, however that content:

    1. Must have artistic, scientific, educational, or cultural value. The more controversial or explicit the content the more important that said content meet these criteria.
    2. Must not relate to or portray anything that is illegal in your jurisdiction. This includes illegal gambling, sale or ingestion of illegal drugs/substances, or criminal activity.
    3. Must not promote the sale or manufacture of weapons, including but not limited to firearms or firearm parts, explosives, or chemical agents.
  • Reporting Abuse

Each broadcast has a report abuse button in the broadcast submenu. If a broadcaster recieves enough reports they will automatically be given an 'outcast' role, which will disallow further broadcasts until a resolution can be reached. If a resolution cannot be reached, that account will be banned/deleted.
